I made an expensive boo boo

Okay here is the hat I was crocheting and I made a mess of it, because I wasn't using a pattern. Such beautiful yarn and now I don't know what to do because when I try to frog it, the yarn breaks. I don't know how I can fix this problem. Angora is beautiful but delicate. I sure hope that Turtle girl takes pity on me and send me that beautiful handspun angora that she is offering in her contest, I promise next time I will use a pattern. I have made these crocheted hats tons of times before. I don't know what happened this time.. If I don't win, maybe you could give me some suggestions as to how I can recover this blunder.

Try freezing it first, then frog. Slowly.

Frogging is always difficult with even a slightly fuzzy yarn. Turtlegirl76 is right, ice it.
