Crochet by Yukiko

My friend Yukiko is from Japan, she has only been here for 2 years and is learning english. She learned to crochet when she was a small child. Since she has been here she taught her self to knit. She shared with me these projects that she made recently. Aren't they beautiful♥

This one is my favorite. She used hemp. It is super strong. It's her own design. I have invited her to join ravelry, I am sure she will find other japanese knitters and crocheters there. Thank you Yuki for sharing that with us. I can't wait to see what else you come up with.

Gosh, my first time on this blog and I have to say that Akiko's bag got my attention! How nice of you ladies to support Yukiko. Love your blog, love the Toe Up Socks initiative. Gotta find a group to knit with: I see how it is helpful for each of you all.
