Try starting over
Well sister, that wonderful Koigu sock which I started on Friday and was looking pretty decent and had just decreased the gussett. GUESS WHAT? Yes, you know me I have started over. Can you say FROGGED.. yep, I had to, I just could not stand the little mistakes and then I ended up with a huge problem on the left side of the pickup, something just was not right. I frogged it back to the beginning right before the heel flap, well let's just say I took the heel flap out too, yes I sure did. I don't believe it and I am sure you don't either, but why have a sock full of mistakes, when you know your are much better than that. I think I will get better, but as you said, there are a few tricks that people just don't tell you and its like you have to figure them out for yourself. I am hesitant to say that I am using the right size needle for these socks, but I think it could be just a little bit different. Needle size is very important, what I have learned is socks aint easy.... never thought they were but I can say that you do have to really take your time and follow the directions. Oh, and I have decided to stop knitting if I am sleepy, PUT THE YARN DOWN, because most times and I do mean most times, I end up taking the sleepy knitting out and starting over. I hope to make some progress today while I am at work.. Gotta get at least a pair of socks by the time we go back for sit and knit.
