Last night we went to (ACKC Bar) Artfully Chocolate featuring Kingsbury Confections Cocoa in Logan Circle to pick up our Neighborhood Fiber "Sock for all Seasons" March yarn. Karida invited us and she treated us to Hot Cocoa. It was most delicious. I decided to try the Turtle cookie and The Charro Cocoa which is a playful combination of semi-sweet chocolate and caramel, topped with whipped cream and a Ghiradeli caramel sauce. Chelette had a brownie and The Marilyn, which was white chocolate topped with whipped cream and a dash of orange peelings, it had a very smooth taste. The place was filled with all kinds of delectable chocolates and even candles and teas that were chocolate. It is definitely a place to visit again. Here are a few pictures from the evening. The star of the evening was truly this month's yarn -- Raspberry Truffle it's Merino w/Cashmere, very very soft, not sure that I will make socks with it. Thanks Karida for a fun evening. It was also nice meeting everyone, Olga, Niki, Melissa, Paula and Erika
Look who just happened to be at the same spot-- Michael, the author of Knitting with Balls.
