Okay,, as you know I started the CPH and I was going along pretty good,,, doing my cables and even took pictures.(why didn't I see the errors after the first row of cables).... after I did about 14 inches... I look at my cables and they look funny... hmmmm... I have a few going the wronggggggggg way... crapola...!!! now what.. rip.... yikes.. I don't think sooo... I hate ripping back,, so maybe I could keep going ,,, knowing that now it is important to put the cable needle in the proper place... So this is why I stopped... No knitting on the CPH for daysssss now... I know I have to make a decision...What would would you do... keep going or rip back,,, decisions decisions..I mean,,, it is in the back and who is going to really inspect it that hard.. Come on this is my first sweater,,, sooo it is like a practice... Do I want to rip all the way back to the rib.... I keep wondering if there is a way to just go down and repair the cables in the right direction without ripping the entire thing.. I can't decide.. I don't even know if it's possible... I know I should just brave up and redo...and maybe I will... After all it is all in the learning how...isnt it!!! The next CPH I will be sure to put my cables correctly... Alright enough ranting from me...

Okay, gird your loins -- RIP BACK -- It's a real pain to try and "fix" that many cables, that far back, easier, and faster to rip back. I've finished the back -- and started the front, but I don't like the way I've added my extra stitches, and I'm gonna read over the pattern tomorrow (actually READ the whole pattern -- something I never do until I get to "that" part) -- and may end up ripping my front back to the ribbing -- and I'd already done the armhole decreases.
see ya tomorrow -- BRING IT!!!!!!
Okay so why are we still talking about this. I was with you on Sunday and today is Wednesday --- and you said on Sunday-- you were going home to take it out. Sister repeat after me...
FFFFFRRRRROOOOOGGGGGG.. I will be happy to help if you need me to.
Loveya
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I don't want to make enemies so early on so I'll just say; I support you in whatever you do. If it were me, I'd have to rip but it's not me, so the decision is up to you, you see !!!
I know it was traumatic to discover this mishap. At least you had not stitched your CPH together and then discovered it. I can't wait to see the new picture of your newly knit cables !!!
Rip it, baby and don't look back. I would have had it ripped out before I had time to type a post :)
Ribbit Ribbit- become a frog and do what frogs do. Lesson learned you will be fine- deep breaths!

I attached my Michael sweater to a ball winder and ripped away. I knew I'd always noticed the flaws. I reknit it pretty quickly.
Cici here....okay,,, I know you are all right, so I did it.. I haven't gotten back to where I stopped before I ripped but im working on it. Thanks for helping me see that It Had to Be Done! :)
Gurl you are asking the wrong person b/c I hate ripping back too! LOL
If you truly know those misplaced cables will bother you than frog (I like how Ava suggested on the ball winder). If they won't keep going!
Let us know what YOU decided!! ;o)
