CiCi' s Total Enjoyment Finally!

Yes... I said it.. I am totally enjoying sitting home and not doing a thing.. I am just glad the pain has stopped. I was supposed to be on vacation, but it has not been a vacation to say the least. I feel like I have been to hell and back. You know how pain is.. you seem to forget it when its over, until the next time that is. I had already planned a trip to Oregon, so I went anyway 2 days after the kidney stone surgery. I was able to get through the week, doing as little as possible because I was in pain most of the time.. I have taken more drugs this week than I have in my entire life. I did, however, manage to go to Websters, a great yarn store in Ashland, where Carol helped me decide on what to get. I got some really nice yarn Silver Cloud Farm which they have locally and some Jitterbug by Colinette that I can't get at my LYS --of course I had to bring my sis and daughter some too.

Well, I have been off work for nearly this whole month, but when you are not feeling good you can't enjoy it. Now that I see the light at the end of the tunnel I am going to be able to enjoy being home and doing nothing and having NO pain. It was shakey for awhile, but now I think I can finally say, I am going to be back to normal soon. Thank God for my knitting it was the only thing that would take my mind off the pain.

Cajtalk has purchased our dream camera, so be looking for some great pictures coming soon. I was without my camera in Oregon, so as soon as I figure out how to send them from my phone I will post pictures I took.

Check out some of my purchases.... this is a Silver Cloud Farm -100% american grown yarn from Oregon. I really like it and think it might make a great CPH.

Okay, so totally not related to Knitting -- this is Sasha, this is only my second cat, so I don't know a lot about cats. She is about 1yr. and loves to suck her tail. see it there in the pic.

Aah - what is it about knitters and cats? The two just seem to go together. Glad you are feeling better.

As a former kidney stone sufferer, mine was surgically removed as well, I know how much pain you endured. I say that kidney stones are the cure for crime. If they could be implanted in criminals and they suffer with one for a few days, weeks, etc. they would never commit a crime again. I'm not for capital punishment but there's nothing wrong with cruel and unusual.
Stay well.
