100 and Counting............

Created with fd's Flickr Toys.

Hello everyone, sorry about the long break. So much has been going on for us. This is our one hundredth post. It is amazing how the time is flying. Although, we haven't posted much about knitting lately and someone even left a comment saying that it looks like knitting isn't the main topic here and it seems like that of late -- but we like to keep up with the HOT TOPICS. The excitement of the presidential campaign has been at the forefront. With only days left, we have been engrossed with all the news about our candidate, Senator Barrack Obama. We are so looking forward to November 4th.

The saddest news that we have to report is that Emmy Lou, is no longer with us, she has gone to her big place in the sky. It was a sad thing, but the owner made what she thought was the best decision. She is taking it pretty hard, but I can say each day her spirits seem to be brighter. I know it's going to take some time for her to get over this. Loosing a pet this way is harder than you know. I am thankful for all the readers who left comments of encouragement and support that I passed along to her.

During the past few months we have enjoyed knitting socks, and think that sock knitting has helped us to become better knitters. We just received our first month of Sundara Seasons Sock Club and the colorways are gorgeous. We also signed up for a 2nd round with Neighborhood Fiber's Walking Sock Tour and was surprised this weekend when the first shipment came.

Well the heat is on, we started the Central Park Hoodie a while back and after putting it down for the summer we are back at it because we would like to wear it to Stitches which is only 18 days away. So who's going to Stitches?? This will be our second time. We will be there Saturday and Sunday. I know we only live about 40 minutes from Baltimore, but we plan to make it a weekend getaway. Last year we had a ball. So if you are going, we would love to meet you. We will be the ones with our CPH's on.

We are thankful for each and everyone who has left comments. We also know that there are many that read without commenting and that's okay too. It has been a joy and pleasure to meet many of you. We look forward to the next 100th post.
-Peace-

I'm Blogging This

Hi All... As some of you know,, I am at home for almost a week now.. I have gotten a few things done... Like socks. and I have spent way to much time on the internet... also I keep hearing from CAJ.. that our blog is sooooo junkie.... She sorta, kinda would like to change the format to what I don't know.(she doesn't like when I enclude dots...).. But I think it's cool. There is lots of info stuff, most of it helpful(in my opinon)/ So I thought I would see if this would make her happy... As you know her nick name is CAJTALK>... emphasis on TAlk.. and my mom calls her scoop.. She loves "The View" more than anyone. Secondly she is the biggest OBAMA Fan I know...Life after have a blog makes you see things so differently.. She is always saying "this would make a great blog post"... and.. .. I'm going to blog this...so.. sis .... This one's for you.....

Question: If you had your own place and your boyfriend didn't... say he lives with his mother...

Would you spend more time at his house where there isn't much privacy or your own?

Now in SOS NEWS.. I can hardly believe it myself.. I have almost(yes almost,., a toe and a sock to go) one whole pair of socks done.. It is Spring Forward , one of the most popular for this SOS/O8. I really like the pattern a lot. It was easier than I thought it would be.. I hope to start on both monkeys and jaywalkers next.

Here is a great picture of what it looks like.. I saw it on Stacy's Blog,, It shows the pattern better than mine..
